Six Flags Discovery Kingdom will introduce a new family coaster next spring, Tony Hawk's Big Spin! This family spinning coaster will take riders on a wild skateboard ride across some unique elements. The ride which is themed to the professional skater Tony Hawk is expected to open Spring 2008..

Califonria's Great America


Firefall, New Ice Show, and New Name in 2008!
Great America will grace a new name in 2008 when the park re-opens. California's Great America will be the name of the Santa Clara Theme park. Also new in 2008, a Top Spin, Firefall with fire and water effects, as well as a new Ice show taking the park back to it's roots. Cedar Fair has also announced they plan to build a 102 ft wooden coaster at the park for the 2009 season.
